The American Limousine has withstood the test of time. In actuality, the word “Limousine” originates from the French. Some of the first chauffeured limos where dated back to the early 1700’s. In a French province called “Limoges”, horse drawn carriages with a separate compartment for a driver sparked the idea. Known for their comfort and practicality, the limo concept flourished.  If they could only see what they have started!
