Party Bus On The Prowl
There are several things to consider before purchasing a party bus. Some come pre-manufactured from the factory and several others are custom designed to meet your needs. Much will depend on your current customer base. Corporate clients have many different needs as do wedding customers and party goers.
Once you have decided which direction to go, the sky is the limit based on the budget. Financing is usually available on several different levels for party buses. Price will usually increase with the actual size of the bus and inside features. Be sure to understand your market prior to building the vehicle and be sure your area will be receptive to your vision.
Phase 1: Once your chassis has been chosen, now it’s time to design your dream party bus. Be sure to have your custom interior sketched out. By doing so, you and your builder can be on the same page at all times. It is fairly easy for any professional manufacturer to follow a good layout. Once this is complete, the builder will begin by framing out the design with wood or metal. The electricians usually prefer to get in as much work as possible in the beginning because running wires is much easier to do when things are out of the way.
Phase 2:
Once the seat frames are in, the interior designer can begin his job on the custom seating. This is a key element to any bus design. Not only for comfort, but the seats are a major visual feature of larger vehicles. Durable foam and material should always be utilized for the seats. Interior bars should also be constructed during this phase. It is important for bars to be spaced out properly in any bus design. If they are not in a convenient location, customers will put their drinks in places that are vulnerable to spills. This can lead to all sorts of problems which include electrical and bad odors. While the seats and bars are being made, the floors and ceiling should be installed. Custom hardwood, tiles or simple black carpeting are normal features for a party bus. Ceiling nowadays usually contain LED lighting and fiber optics .
Phase 3
Once phase 2 is complete, the final electronics can go in. This includes Tvs, stereos, subs, amps and light shows. Most party buses carry only the finest in audio and video technology. Most lights and fiber optics are connected and tested during this phase. Lighting is also a key element in today’s bus market.
Phase 4
Finally it’s almost here. This is where the excitement starts to mount. Everything begins to come together and the finishing touches are taking shape. Be sure to test all components prior to final pick-up. Double check all electronics including heat and air conditioning and try to run the bus for an extra amount of time to assure everything electrical is functioning properly. Lastly, enjoy your new money making machine!
