In 2010 the Indianapolis Colts played the New Orleans Saints in the Super bowl. As we all know, the Super Bowl is much more than just your typical sporting event. It draws millions of viewers from all over the world and not just for the game itself. Companies spend mega money on commercials advertising their brands to the general public. One of this year’s prime-time spots featured a talented “beaver” performing his music live and finishing up his tour with a ride in a super stretch limousine with a Jacuzzi in the rear.

Using high-transportation to examplify a message is a growing trend. The popular artist “Lil Wayne” featured a monster truck limousine custom built for his song “Lollipop” in 2009 and the legendary Hugh Hefner is consistently employing the use of high-end transportation services in most of his realty shows. As a matter of fact, you will find the use of high-end transportation services in just about every current reality show on-air. Limos simply represent the higher echelon of getting around town.
THE BIG SCREEN
The prestigious lure of a limousine doesn’t stop with reality shows or music videos. Who could forget the big screen guest appearance of a stretch Lincoln Town Car in the movie 2012? If that wasn’t the single greatest plug for the limo industry, there isn’t anything left to say. Families across America probably wanted to park a Lincoln in front of their houses as an emergency back up plan. Transportation services have been utilized in literally dozens of popular films.
END IN SIGHT?
The question remains, are we ever going to witness the end of high-end transportation services? MOST LIKELY NOT! As long as the rich, famous and pampered continue to throw money out the door for luxury, the limo biz will be right behind them picking it all up. If we missed any major videos, movies or TV shows featuring the use of a limousine or transportation vehicle, feel free to post it here.
