Early in 21st Century, a new craze started in the limousine industry. With the popularity of the SUVs at an all time high, it was only natural for limo companies to want to chop one in half and make it into a limo. One of the first of these monsters was the Excursion Limo. Its initial size and durability made it the perfect candidate for introducing it to the limo market. Although Ford no longer manufactures the Excursion body style, you will still find several Excursion limos doing charters today. Equipped with a stock (2) ton chassis right from the factory, we anticipate they will running strong for many years to come, Now, the limo world is full of extreme machines roaming the city streets. No automobile is safe from becoming a mega transport vehicle.

Limousine Rolls Royce

An Excursion limo serves its purpose well for the limousine operator but the visual appeal is of no comparison to a Limousine Rolls Royce. The prestige of one of these beauties is sure to impress just about any customer. You won’t find many original models on the road. Whether you are considering an antique model or newer brand, it takes a big budget and vehicle knowledge to successfully keep a fleet of Rolls Royce limos on the road.

Rolls Replica

The Rolls Royce brand is so well known, you will find companies converting their old Lincoln Town Cars into knock off models with the assistance of aftermarket body kits. These fiberglass kits may give the illusion of an original Rolls Royce but up-close they are still no match for the perfect lines of a Rolls. Whether you’re looking to rent one or purchase one, you will enjoy a luxury ride like no other.

Renting a limo is not overly complicated, but there are several key rules (and of course exceptions to every rule). First, limo companies are kings at tagging on extra fees that they never tell you about during the quote. You should always ask about additional expenses like tax, toll, gas, and overtime or any other miscellaneous or service charges. When you receive a quote from a company, besides the fees, ask them if the price includes gratuity. If it does not, you must add 20% in order to gauge how much you are actually being quoted. DON’T BE A TOO CHEAP! Yes, 20% is the norm. Your driver will need to cover his gas and additional amenities provided in order to assure your limo ride is a good on. To rent a limo, you most likely will need to leave a credit card on file or pay cash when it arrives. Be sure to find out the payment details in advance.

Before putting down any deposit to rent a limo, request a contract from the company and read their policy on cancellations, changes, liability, lateness and other key components. This might sound intuitive but read the contract, so that you are not surprised later. Some companies ask for a security deposit upon arrival so be sure to keep the original credit card on file. Never hesitate to communicate with the company on the day of your event. It never hurts to remind. Last but not least, be sure to enjoy your ride to the fullest. For several of us, riding in a limousine doesn’t happen too often.

FINDING A LIMO COMPANY

When looking for the right limo company, be sure you have narrowed down all of your needs. Although most companies maintain a wide variety of options to choose from, there might be specifics they need to know to better assist you. Things they will need to know:

- SIZE OF YOUR PARTY
- TYPE OF PACKAGE
- NUMBER OF HOURS AND STARTING TIME
- DESTINTIONS

Once you’ve compiled the appropriate information we recommend you begin your search on the internet. The web offers surfing with ease without having to talk to anyone. If the internet is not available, grab a phone book or local city magazine but be sure to ask bunch of questions.
