To become a professional limo driver you must maintain a clean driving record. Several insurance providers will not insure a company unless all drivers are clean. Some insurance carriers mandate that a companies drivers must be at least 25 years of age or older. Laws regarding limo driving will vary from city to city. Certain state laws may require an additional license or endorsement to drive a limousine. This may require training, testing and fees. It never hurts to be over qualified when it comes to driving. Never forget that carrying human lives is the most precious cargo one can have. 

PAYDAY

A limo drivers pay will vary on how hard he works and the company he works for. Some companies will pay an hourly wage and allow the driver to keep his or hers tips. Some companies may let the driver work off of tips only and some will pay out as independent contractors per job. A full time chauffeur can rake in some big money but will have to work long hours to do so.
